Got my grade back for my magizine brief at uni today, got an A- for my ‘The Goat Captures zine’. Pretty happy with that, all the photos I used for it are ones that I’ve taken myself.

This print was produced to mark the last time we toured AWNOHWEB on the Pianos Become the Teeth UK Euro tour. Our new record ‘Whats Left to Let Go’ will also have its own screen print once the record is released.

The final headline show of run, WALK!
The boys are taking one final ride together before the premature demise of one of my favourite UK bands. And, purely by accident, here we have their last ever headline show.
Making a triumphant return to Cornwall after a dramatic, captivating performance at Dirty Sunday run, WALK! are a ‘death drone’ two piece- just a drum kit and a bass (plus a shed load of pedals) create some of the most frantic noise you will ever hear.
Support comes from new blood - I Don’t Want To Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, young passionate screamo FFO: MATHS, pg. 99, Orchid.

This will also be the day before Moshtache Records 1st birthday, lets have a party. I’ll bring the cake.

Overall Advice:
Learn to be poor yet dedicated, forever. Step away from the computer every chance you can and learn how to be flexible as an artist/designer. Learn art history, color theory, grid systems, typography, photography, and illustration. Work with other artists/designers around you. We all learn from one another. Education is everything, but the institution isn’t. School is great, but retaining information is better. With that said, Art School is great for some and a waiting room for others. It’s certainly not a requirement to be an artist. Once you have a knowledge base, the world is yours to make.
To summarize, I am a person just like you, no better or worse. I work to create things that I find interesting and fulfilling on a variety of levels. My advice to you is to find your voice and do the same, and hopefully it will lead you in a positive direction. Good luck.

With just over 100 of the ‘Hospital Corners’ 12” Vinyl left in our hands, we just wanted to take a minute to thank you all for this most incredible and humbling response.
We were nervous of self releasing this by ourselves, it’s an enormous undertaking for any band financially but thanks to your support, we need not of worried. We truly have one of the best groups of fans any band could ever ask for.
Over the months, some of you have been waving your splatter vinyl proudly (Which sold out on the pre-order) - we even saw one go for £34 on ebay just last week (are you MENTAL?!). We haven’t seen many clear ones posted on Tumblr; if you have one don’t be shy!
After a relatively quiet first quarter we’re hitting the road again in June for Crash Doubt Festival as well as a small UK tour with Crossbreaker. We hope to see you all there!
If you could pass this around so it could reach as many people as possible so everyone can see how thankful we all are, it would be much appreciated!
